This is one of my favourite shops here in Miri, and it is the thrift store here.
Good morning, all my wonderful friends here. I usually post early in the morning, then head off to do other stuff throughout the day.
I usually go to the Eco shop to buy detergent and many household items. All of the items here are Rm 2.80, except for some bigger stuff, which is countable in this shop. Rm 2.80 = around USD 60 cents.
Just to give you a rough idea of what each item costs.
There are some who do not like the quality of Ecoshop, but I think these products are alright. There are some that could be diluted a bit, but still, it does the work. When I visit Ecoshop, I usually just grab things I want to buy without thinking much.
These detergents are quite good
Why? They have that screw on cap. After I got married, I've been enjoying buying stuff like this a lot. I am not sure why. Comparing prices of different stuff here.
These are my favourite too. Toilet bleach. I usually pour it into the toilet bowl to have it whiten without needing to scrub it manually using a brush which at times can feel daunting.
Then, they have this section, which is the plastic basket section. The auntie in me loves the baskets.
So many different locks and handles.
These are all Rm 2.80. I think these sell for 5 X the prices at normal hardware shops. I think how they reduce the price at such heavy discounts is to order in a huge bulk.
They have lots of Capybara stuff too. Are you a fan of Capybaras? These are some of the cutest collectables. Usually by the next trip, these would have been out of stock.
Dental floss - also Rm 2.80 too
Black strings. Easy to spot the different stuff that gets stuck in between the teeth.
Toothbrush
Three in a pack. I love getting a toothbrush too. It's great to have these cheaper version as I think the only difference between branded brushes and these is just the branding. The marketing.
They have lots of brick toys too. Boxes. Each visit, different toys. These are great for kids as they learn to build stuff with their brains.
I had to get their blind boxes. I have a weakness for blindboxes. So, since I saw some new blindboxes and had to buy them.
My wife poisoned me with the love for blindboxes. So let us see what is inside.
