Hi hi.. I am @luueetang .. Wow.. a week has gone by again. Time truly waits for no man. Today, it is a special post. My brother in law loves collecting gundam self assembling toys. You basically select a kit and then cut out the parts and assemble them, then paint the colours onto the models. These don't come cheap.

Gundam
I have not watched much gundam so I am not sure what models they are. But they are impressive. The number of hours he placed into building each model, painting on the colours.
Initially white
After assembling the parts together, he painted the different parts of it. Delicately. This gundam model sure has a huge gun.
A cute little one
This guy has got a proportion problem. He doesn't look proportionate. Maybe that's what makes him unique.
It's like visiting a Gundam museum.
All of them have their own place. He has a couple of hundred of these and the ones I am showcasing here are just some of them.
The millenium falcon
It's amazing to watch a Star Wars movie and feel amazed at that iconic flying scene where the battle takes place on the Death star. It's is amazing to see a model of it in person.
R2D2
One of the most iconic robots out there. The cutest little robot out there. The original R2D2.
His latest project is still in development.
This is what it looks like pre paint. Plain and white. Slowly, he'll add on colours. This is his hobby. I love looking at this huge collection.

He just loves robots. haha.. The ultimate gundam fan. He has boxes that are stacked up to the ceiling. Gundam in his cabinet.

What do you collect. I have lots of toys too but not expensive ones. Usually, I spend a lot of money on my camera gear.

Of all the toys from the collection, I only know one, that's Gundam because I watched the movie when I was little on TV in my country.

One of my ex-school classmates has a similar hobby, collecting toy figures of superheroes or things like that. He said he loves to collect them because he couldn't afford them in the past.
Wow.. that means that he could be having a really impressive display cabinet at home with all those superheroes inside tucked neatly inside.. hi hi.. welcome back.
