Hellooo my friends,
How are all of you? It is a Monday again. Time sure flies. We are now in the first week of December. I have this area at home that is like a mini 🌳 forest. What is your hobby?
One of the things that I love to do is build brick stuff. I recently bought a 7-11 brick set and completed it.

This is my aquarium. There are lots of fish inside and expanding. I have a couple of Kois, gold fish, plecos, and neon tetras, to name a few. Inside are some aquatic plants to add oxygen to the tank as well as to clean the water.
I have been keeping fish for the last decade. I've always had flowerhorns. After the last flowerhorn died, I decided that I should try keeping community fish instead. Those that do not attack others and can coexist with each other. It somehow works. I used to have to spend a lot of time cleaning the tank, but now with everything planned out, the water changes are much easier, at only 15 minutes.

We also have a couple of bonsais. This is the mini version of the Jasmine plant.
I also have a larger version of the Jasmine plant. At the garden at the back of my house. Yes, there is a whole forest at the back of my house.

Got myself another less powerful aquarium pump. My plan for this pump is to use it for a smaller tank that I have to keep smaller fish. Then, slowly add fishes in to get it to feel like I am in the middle of the jungle.

On my wall is this clasping plant that is growing on the wall. Slowly, it will cover most of the wall and provide lots of oxygen as well as cool down the car park.
Maybe after a while of growing, I need to do some trimming to make this whole area neater. Slowly building a small aquatic city in my house.

I have also taken off the bubble-producing mechanism on the main pump that filters water up this filter box. This is to make the fish feel less stressed out. If not, the water would be pumping out lots of bubbles at a high speed. So instead of using that, I have this other, more gentle oxygen pump that attaches to the stone.

This is one of my favourite fish at the moment
Platinum Short Body Koi
Behind are some of the aquatic plants that I have. Gives oxygen to the fish as well as cleans out the water in the aquarium. Most of the time, the platinum Koi is of a longer body version, but this is a short body version. It has those long fins that look amazing when it matures into an adult next time.

This is what this whole area looks like. There are a lot of plants around. This also blocks out anyone from outside the fence from peeking inside. Beneath the aquarium next to it. It is the tortoise enclosure. I have a huge Sulcata inside weighing more than 40 kgs and a red foot tortoise as well as a Red Ear Slider tortoise. hahaha.

Have a great day .
