I usually eat breakfast. Today, I am eating at an open-air food court here in Miri.
Some Dim Sum for breakfast. Dim Sum in Miri is usually made fresh daily. Made at the back of the kitchen.
The open-air concept is quite popular here in Miri. Most customers prefer eating at open-air places.
The natural breeze blows into the food court. There are also fans inside.
Food is how Malaysians bond. Most Weekends, places like these are full of hungry customers who are with their customers. If Malaysians were to compete in a competition, that competition would be eating and cooking. The best chef and customers.
This food court is made up of many stalls, and at times, the whole place is quite packed, and there are no spaces available. Then, the customers have to stand for a while and see if anyone is leaving or not.
After this meal and a full tummy, it was time to head to other places.
This food court is called Lao Yang Food Court. They are specialist in Dim Sum. They make really good dim sum.
After that, my wife ordered me a yam drink. YUmmy. Taro flavour.
Yam latte.

The mall here in Miri. This is one of the oldest malls. I still remember those times when I was a teen hanging out here. This mall is still here and getting better. More upgrades and renovations.
The floors have never been changed at all.
The a heavy traffic jam here whenever it is peak hours. Everyone here drives a car. I wish one day there were more public transport options. I would definitely be a loyal customer.

Usually, in this kinda of food court, the foods are more affordable no? Thats a also the reason why its full packed, for sure those are students, employees and maybe some tourist too. Seems like you enjoy the foods and the walk in the mall with your wifey ♪┌|∵|┘♪
halo.. yea.. it is quite affordable .. and the food here is good too.. yea.. lots of families, employees and tourist too.. I guess. I am one of the ultimate foodies out there... whahahaha hihi
This is fried Siomai a Dim Sum kind of food I like the fried version I had this as a snack the taro drink is not common here it can be in a form of a shake Have a great day!
