Yesterday was supposed to be a day of fun and swimming.
My Aunt invited us the day before to come over to their place because they have a mini swimming pool.
So, we headed there in the afternoon, excited for the kids to take a dip.
But guess what? When we arrived, there was no swimming pool in sight. 🤦🏼♀️
I was thinking, "Was she serious about this invite?"
We went upstairs to look for her, but she wasn't there.
According to Yaya Tess, she and her husband actually went out somewhere to swim.
They even brought their clothes, leaving the kids behind with Yaya Tess. Aygoo!
And about the pool? Oh well, it was ruined by a cat, so it couldn't be used anymore. 🥹
Since we couldn't swim, we just decided to stay, bond, and play with the kids.

And you know what? It turned out to be a really nice afternoon because I discovered how incredibly creative and artistic my cousin, Sab, is! ✨
Sab showed me her very own candy machine.

She told me she asked her parents to buy one for her, but they told her, "Why not try to make your own?"
And she did!

She just watched a tutorial on YouTube and made it all by herself using an empty Ceelin box. It looked so cool!

Then she said, "I have another one!"
She brought me to see a mini shower room made out of cartons. This time, I was even more amazed! 😍

She made a shower head with two buttons... one for hot water and one for the cold.

She even made tiny soap and shampoo bottles.

When they play, they put their plush toys inside and pretend to bathe them, using soap and shampoo. Haha!
It was so detailed and cute.

Honestly, when I was a child, I never thought of these kinds of ideas.
Kids nowadays are really so smart and creative!
I guess YouTube makes it so easy for them to learn new things.
She also told me she is currently making a trolley bag, but it's not finished yet. I can't wait to see it. 😍
Anyway, we ended our bonding time by eating some delicious pizza. Yum!

This afternoon wasn't exactly what I expected since we didn't get to swim, but I'm so glad we went anyway.
It was such a joy to see Sab's talent and imagination.
Even without a pool, it was still a great day! Hehe.
Until my next post...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸

How creative Sab. Did you limit her screentime? Inventing toys is fun and I love watching my grand kids playing and inventing instead spending too much on gadget.

It's nice seeing Sab being a resourceful and creative kid, while also having fun. She's so innovative and for sure has an imaginative mind. A brilliant child!
