Two weeks ago, my husband and I decided to buy our children new pair of shoes at the mall. Since there were no more restrictions pertaining to children going inside establishments, our whole family went to SM City to purchase them a pair each. After the tedious process of choosing which is which, we were hungry and of course it is time to take something to eat.
We did not eat at the mall, we decided to stopped by a fast food chain on our way home. You know when you live in the city, there are several choices when it comes to restaurants. This time we dropped by Chowking. It is well-known fast food here in the Philippines that offers Chinese-influence menu. Our family loves Chowking!

We ordered the Family Lauriat Meal which includes 6 pcs fried chicken, pansit, rice and drinks. The cashier did some upselling. She told us we can avail the Halo-halo for 50 pesos if we purchase it together with the meal. We ordered three!

Halo-halo!
Halo-halo! This is made of shaved ice, milk, tapioca pearls, jelly, banana, sweet beans, pinipig, leche flan and ice cream! Three orders was not enough, so we ordered another one. My husband and I thought we could share but our children got one each, leaving none for the both of us. LOL
Got this one at a regular price. It was worth its price though.
This is a very popular food here in our country! For all my Filipino friends out there would you agree? :D
Our family enjoyed this meal and we went home filled and satisfied.
