You're very fortunate to be surrounded by beaches. We have a beach here, but I don't think it's very clean. It's been a long time since I've seen any boats. Maybe it's because I don't often go to the harbor side. Perhaps one day I will, just to feel the cool breeze of the beach wind.
Hahaha. It's a "drag them or bribe them" game with my kids these days. I guess they have already reached that age (9 & 8) when they no longer want to tag along as much as they did when they were smaller. 🤧
The beaches here are great. White sand and super blue water. Best of all, it's free! So whenever we can, we try to go and enjoy especially in months like these. It feel so nice even just to sit at the shore. Yes, you have to go to the beach too. Unwind.
In the Philippines, we also live close to the sea (perhaps 10kms far) but the only time we go there would be when we have visitors who want to go to the beach for a swim.
I know that feeling. Now that my children are growing up, it's harder to take them out too. In the past, when I went out, they would cry and beg to follow. But now, they don't seem to care. Sometimes, I have to beg them to come along, especially when we're buying groceries, so they can help me carry the bags. Haha... I think they know their usefulness when they come with me. 🤭🤭
The nearest beach to me is more than 8 miles away from where I live. Lately, there have been many reports about crocodiles swimming in the sea. It's surprising that crocodiles can survive in saltwater. That's why many people don't want to go to the beach now because they're afraid. Thats making me more anxious to go too. 🫣
My eldest is 14, and he barely comes with me anymore. 😌 time really flies.
Aiks!! The crocodiles dont sound fun at all. I'd also be having second thoughts like that!
