Today is Tuesday but I want to elaborate what I did last Sunday morning at 3am. It was still dawn, before the Mu'adhin call of pray was being heard. I drank a glass of water when I felt something blocked my breath, feeling breathless. I thought of my last day on earth. But, I am alive! There are missions in my life to be fulfilled. My friend was not yet sleeping. She was cleaning the make up set of the ladies. Then, she played my face with the make up set she clean.
My friend took a picture after she played my face when I felt sleepy again. I found myself like a beautiful dead person. Just to funny.
The result of being tired and couldn't sleep.
Then she requested me not to sleep and made me as her photographer and she posed and posed like pro.
About My Friend
She is single, a 22 years old who came Saudi Arabia through back door. She came here without passport or any visa. In short, illegal worker by forced entry. There are so many illegal worker and I love this girl we keep as my co-worker who helps me in cleaning the entire house and me for the cooking. She is respectful, feel like her mother. They came here with her two older brother and sad to say one of her brother died on their way in the mountain between Yemen and Saudi boundary. One of her brother arrived here safely but last May or June 2022, he was being captured and put in jailed because of being an illegal worker or for entering Saudi illegally. At this moment, my friend brother will be sent back to their country. This girl do not want to go outside, she is also afraid of being caught by the police. She stays at my employer's home. Like me all her money is being sent to her family who are now in a place of war in Africa. Internet there sometimes is being cut off. My friend always cry thinking of her family. I comforted her and she comforted me too when I am down.
What is life for Us?
In my opinion, life is too unfair based to our both life story. We deserved to be happy but loneliness is always a friend of us. But we kept on going for the family. We should be strong everyday. I just say unfair but it is our responsibility to adjust everything to be fair. Life must go on and thank you for your support. It made sense to me @justinparke and family, the @asean.hive community.

That's really sad about the brother of your friend. Imagine having to endure so much struggles just be killed up in the mountains. Then the other brother also will be deported.
I couldn't even fathom the pain the anguish your friend must have felt.
But as they say life must go on.
I pray she will have a happy and good life in the future since she is just 22 now, very young!
Life is indeed unfair at times, imagine a lot of people are just taking for granted the freedom that they have while others have to die trying to have it.

Cheers to both of you! You are so strong and hard-working! My brother is also an ofw in Saudi Arabia and he is our family breadwinner, I can see his situation from the two of you, he chose to support us and left his daughter unsupported. Sometimes life is indeed unfair. 😞
