I did, and I'm doing, similar reflections very often... Maybe too often, to be honest... I still do have ideas, and when I was younger, I had probably even more... But there is a difference between now and then... Similarly to you, I thought I could do everything I imagined, that I knew everything... Because of that, it was easier to jump in and REALIZE those ideas, to fulfill... Maybe not to succeed, but at least try...
Today, I do have ideas, but many of them get forgotten, and many of them are "denied" after a few hours/days of brainstorming... We are not the same as we were a decade ago, or just a week ago... Is it good, is it bad? I don't know...
Can we do better? Of course we can!
