Manila Bulletin considered one of the Philippines' oldest newspapers with millions of readers nationwide featured Hive blockchain in one of their articles regarding the highly anticipated Bull or Bear events initiated by the country's first Educational Technology Platform, Bitskwela.

This is another milestone for the Hive community here in the Philippines, being featured in one of the most popular newspapers and websites in the country will surely get some interest among Filipinos who are not yet a member of the community.

Significance of Hive Being Featured on Manila Bulletin

Being featured in the Manila Bulletin newspaper with its nationwide circulation, reach and coverage is an advantage to the Hive community because more and more people are now aware of the community-backed blockchain and Filipinos will be curious about the brand.

In the previous Bull or Bear event organized by Bitskwela our very own Nathan Senn @nathansenn, the co-founder of D.Buzz was one of the speakers representing Hive blockchain and becoming the face of Hive here in the Philippines for his presentation and demonstration of how a real Web3 blockchain worked.

As a Filipino blogger for the past decade, a mere mention of a brand in a newspaper or on their official website is already an achievement for the community and we cannot do it without people bridging us with those companies.

I would like to commend the efforts made by Chris Rice @chrisrice the founder of the Philippine-based decentralized micro-blogging platform D.Buzz for his efforts to connect us with the mainstream media through his partnership with Bitskwela.

For the information of everybody here on Hive, Manila Bulletin had a huge social media following with a total of 4.3 Million Followers on Facebook and 3.6 Million Likes. On Twitter, Manila Bulletin had 1.1 Million Followers.

Manila Bulletin is considered the Philippines' largest English-language broadsheet newspaper by circulation. It has an estimated 1.17 million daily readers nationwide based upon a survey conducted by Nielsen Media Research's Nielsen Media Index Study.
