RE: Disaster strikes: I am out of the 25km race

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITYlast month (edited)

I'm sorry this happened to you. I believe that everything, every little thing, happens for a reason. We may not always know what that reason may be...

Three days ago I rode my bike (alone) up a small hill 2m high but I didn't know the opposite face was a cliff and fell straight down. I had a limp but it only lasted for some minutes while I recovered. The real pain and bruising is on my wrist, since I had enough time to try and catch myself, but from such a height.
The scary part is that the whole incident could have been 1000 times worse... yours as well.
We need to be more careful but sometimes we can only do so much

I try to be thankful that it wasn't worse because it could have been a car or a car could have run me over entirely. It really sucks to not be able to move properly but just like when I broke my ankle years ago, it will give me a great appreciation for having full movement once I do again.

I wish you a speedy recovery. I've never ever broken a bone. I have no idea what it's like...

it's an eye opener that's for sure. It makes you realize that we are all a bit more delicate than we think!
