Weekend Painting Session

Sometimes we over-plan how we want to spend our weekend, from doing outdoor activities or just staying at home, lying in the bed the whole day. But there are moments also that we make sure to do something productive on a particular weekend, whether it's for work, self-productivity, or a project to do at home. It depends on your timeframe and your goal in mind.

But for us, we spent the last weekend differently by making our room a bit updated by its color. We had our weekend painting session instead enjoying the weekend with leisure time. And here's a blog to summarize everything we did.

It was an ordinary Saturday morning when we planned on doing something productive. Aside from usual cleaning and cooking, we wanted to do an activity that will surely challenge us. And that went into one particular activity to do — paint the walls of our room.

So, without further ado, we grabbed the excess paint from the home painting session way back together with some tools to use.

But before painting the walls, we had to start cleaning it first and removed the stuffs inside our room to make sure they won't get any paint at all. We started taking out some of the organizers, tables, and even our bed since we do not want them to get painted all over.

When everything was already settled, we already prepared the tools from the paint brushes up to mixing the paint. It took us a few minutes of preparation before we began painting since other dirts and unnecessary stuffs on the walls should be wiped off.

Then, let the painting session begin!
We started with the side walls, and it was not an easy to do. We can feel our arms getting numb, and then we will have to take some rest. But it was a fun activity to do.

After painting the four sides of the walls, we then proceed to the upper part which is a bit more challenging. It requires looking up, and holding a stick while painting since it's too high. And after several minutes of painting, it's finally done.

Painting can be very challenging, but a productive and fun activity to do. After the painting session, we had to look at ourselves in the mirror and our shirts and arms have signs of paint in them. But setting aside the challenge, it's very satisfying too, especially the moment when we were already done painting and saw the outcome.

Thank you so much for reading. Sending good vibes to everyone!
