Breakfast bread has always special part of my life. When I saw the community challenge by sir @justinparke about the breakfast bread, I suddenly remember my childhood days. I even forgot it was a challenge because so many things happening around me, but when I saw the theme, it make me smile a little. It bring me back to the simple mornings I used to have.
When I was a kid our breakfast is mostl hot "pandesal" from the nearby bakery. I always accompany our nanny early in the morning to buy it. The sun is not yet fully up, streets are still quiet, and you can smell the fresh bread even from far away. It was one of the best smell in the world for me. It feels warm and comforting, like everything will be okay for the rest of the day.
Sometimes I go there half-asleep, still rubbing my eyes, but the moment the bakers puts the hot bread inside the brown paper bag, I feel awake and happy. We will hurry home because if we take too long, the bread becomes cold. And for us, cold bread don’t taste the same. Fresh and hot is the best part.
Now that I have kids, I still try to give them the same experience. Not everyday, but whenever I can. Sometimes I see my daughter holding bread in her small hands and it makes me think how fast time goes. She is growing, my son is growing, and I am here watching them create their own simple memories. Just like mine from before.
Bread may look ordinary for some people, but for me it is part of my life story. Something simple, something soft, something warm — but it stays in the heart for a long time. And even now, every time I taste freshly baked bread, it feels like my childhood days are going back

That's a delicious pandesal, there's also malunggay pandesal, too, that will roam around my place that has cheese on it. Sometimes, I'll buy them if I have an extra but not for breakfast but for my snacks. !wine
I want to eat Pandesal with malunggay in it or cheese, also ube with cheese is scrumptious. Yay! Eat it with hot chocolate is so nice

However, such bread with tea in the morning gives an interesting taste sensation. However, the warm warmth of fresh bread gives a really interesting soft feeling.
