How are you all? Yesterday I told you how to make pink reeds flowers using ribbon. Today I will tell you something else. If you use tik tok, you may have seen CD art videos. CD art is the process of recycling old CD and drawing on them. I really like seeing paintings on old CD. However, I was a little worried about drawing because I was not good at painting. But today I drew a picture on an old CD in my house. The painting on my CD is not pretty, but it looks good in my eyes, so today I shared my first painting experience on the CD.
As for the CD I am using, I have already cleaned both sides of the surface. Therefore, the color of the CD is transparent. Next time, I will tell you how to clean old CD.
I want to paint the background color of the CD light blue, but I have dark blue. So I mixed my dark blue with white. I painted that light blue color on the surface of the whole CD. I let it dry until that light blue color dries.
On that light blue color, I drew a circle using black color. At the bottom of the circle, I drew a stem using only black color. I kept the stem slightly curved, not straight. Actually, I want to bend the stem to the middle, but I'm not good at holding a paint brush, so the stem is as shown in the picture.
I drew some lines around that black circle using black color. Not all lines are the same size, and not all are straight. At first I thought I should use white to draw these lines, but I used black because I thought black would be more beautiful.
I drew some small lines on all the edges of the black lines that I drew. I drew it dandelions, but the dandelions I drew looked like palms.😂
I drew some small dandelions on the light blue color next to those dandelions. I drew these small dandelions like fly in the air.
At the bottom of the CD flat, I drew a line using black color. On that black color, I drew a short line using white color. At the end of that short line, I draw a circle.
Below that line, I drew a circle using white color. I also painted those circles and edges black. Then I drew the bottom of that line according to the items in the music application.
Do you know the dandelions song that Ruth B sang? That song is very popular these days. I really liked the song, so I got the idea to draw it like this on a CD. Then I write the artist name and dandelions on top of that line. Now I'm done painting on CD. This was a bit difficult for me because I was not good at painting. That's all for today. The next day I will trying to make CD art even better. 🍇
