Hello Hive friends! This time I want to share with you a sample of the music that is played in my country. It is about the Venezuelan merengue, a rhythm played in 5/8 time, which is characterized by having a closed rhythm and a very careful accompaniment.

Traditional instruments such as the cuatro and the maracas are used, and in this case, we attached the electric bass and a violin so that this was the soloist. It was a very interesting job, and I really enjoyed it, daring, once again, to play genres that I'm not entirely used to. This was the result, I hope you like it:

Hola amigos de Hive! Esta vez quiero compartir con ustedes una muestra la música que se toca en mi país. Se trata del merengue venezolano, un ritmo tocado a compás 5/8, el cual se caracteriza por tener un ritmo cerrado y un acompañamiento muy cuidadoso.

Se usan instrumentos tradicionales como el cuatro y las maracas, y en este caso, anexamos el bajo eléctrico y un violón para que este fuera el solista. Fue un trabajo muy interesante, y me lo disfruté mucho, atreviéndome, una vez más, a tocar géneros a los que no estoy del todo acostumbrado. Este fue el resultado, espero que les guste:
