Scent leaf is one of the super naturalmedicine i know, it grows everywhere over here but what i find so strange about this plant is the fact that, it has tiny leafs and the stems do not grow wild, it is not bold but always dry in nature and somewhat brown in colour.

The following photographs were capture today in my surrounding, so I am going to show you the look of this plant, called scent leaf.

Scent leaf has a very rich taste in preparing meat, so many people knows it as a matural source leaf used in preparing meat and fish.

And it will not failed you, as It will make sure that whatsoever you were preparing will taste real good and you will like it.

Some people at times, do not just put the leaf in their cooking of meat but they slice it, pound it allow it to be there on the plate of water then after then, the will used the water in cooking whatsoever they want to cook.

I have heard rumors that this methods is much better than slicing the leaf and put it directly in your cooking.

Either way the scent will still come out.

Over here in my country, Nigeria, scent leaf is costly, just a little bunch of it, would be sold at a high price.

Do you know this one, @gentleshaid?

Yea, saint leaf is a species of Ocimum, Ocimum basilicum, and Ocimum gratissimum to be precise. Both species are different in the size of the leaves among other physiological differences.

My wife uses it for cooking. It has a very welcoming scent and the plant is generally medicinal. I really do not know about the health benefits highlighted by the author, One thing I am sure of though is that aqueous extract of Ocimum works well against dysentery.
