First Swell of the Year 👑 Beautiful Water + Ancestral Moviment = Nature Connection.

The Operative nature

Good morning everyone at Hive! how are you? This is my first text of 2024, and it is with much joy that I come to share with you the first really considerable swell of the year that hit the coast of Regencia Espirito Santo, which arrived together with the holding of a very special event in Vila de "Regencia Augusta, Reserva Biological de Comboios.

We, as human beings, must always remain in balance, attentive, so that we have good manners when dealing with nature. Nature itself does not need this condition, as it is already the planet's own operation, and when we can be part of this in harmony, it is incredible.

SOUTH SWELL

In terms of swell, it was a swing that reached practically the entire Brazilian coast, where it then turned east without maintaining the south potential, resulting in a sea of clear waters and good tubes. The wind was very strong in the north and the moon was growing.

Cultural Regencia

For those who are just arriving at my texts and don't know and have never heard about Espirito Santo Regency, it's the place where I learned to surf and spent my childhood with a local friend. This place has always breathed a lot of culture, due to indigenous cabocla and Congo cultural influences, as well as all the natural wealth that the place resides in. However, years ago it was the scene of the biggest environmental tragedy in history, with more than 40 million m3 of toxic mud being dumped into the Doce River, which flowed into Regencia.

At night on the street of Boca do Rio, the classic, anthological Fubica car passed by, " Mica Fubica is a traditional off-season carnival in Vila de Regência where the band Fubica, with its own songs, marchinhas, frevo and MPB, performs joy for revelers since 1995, and runs through the main streets and avenues of the village, always passing through Praça Caboclo Bernardo". CONGO & CABOCLO BERNARDO

This place is blessed with surfing and natural resources, but in no way should the words congo and caboclo bernardo be forgotten when referring to Vila Magica de Regencia, Espirito Santo. Seeing these people preserving this culture for so long, regardless of the time, day, weather condition, environmental condition, is something literally magical.

Food is everything we interact with.

To end these 3 days spent in the village with lots of tubing, and cultural movement in the village, it was time for some good food. And since we're already talking about Brazilian culture, the Congo and everything else, we're going to stretch a little further to the Brazilian northeast, and I'm going to share with you this classic Brazilian sweet "Broa"

In the coati's den/ or simply at Thomé's residence, a mutant coconut falls from the coconut tree, and it is our duty to eat it with respect, but when Arthurzim asked me to take the dough out of the coconut so we could make a cornbread with guava paste, oh my muscles already they take a breath and start to idealize the late afternoon surf.

Being able to eat something that your friend, or even yourself, planted is something incredible. Exchanging this experience of the land with people who know and live it out of love also motivates the path. The flavor, the texture, the vibe of the cornbread were incredible.

2024 Started. Silence and dynamism.

In the year 2024, it would be incredible if all human beings on planet Earth sought a certain balance, rhythm to live and in harmony with everything that permeates and interacts with us, I invite you, who have read until the end of the article, to try to put this into practice. everyday lightness, silence and dynamism, practical knowledge and social action, expansion in life. Working day after day on the things that prevent us from truly growing and improving even more the things that condition us to be better people.

Working on both sides of the coin, connection and concentration, caring and having goals, interpersonal competence such as technological, academic, or machinery knowledge, synchronicity with cause and effect, conservation and expansion, interdependence and independence, collective and individual, internal and external . What I mean is, carrying out practices, looking for a way to keep in rhythm with life, with the things that happen around us, knowing when to listen and when to speak.
