A while ago I wrote about building the Lego Land Rover Defender over a series of posts - if you want to read about it you can in this final post I did recently realise that I hadn't really shown you the finished Defender in it's natural habitat - off road
So off it was to the local park for a shoot
Luckily this is a big park so there weren't to many people around to mess up the background of my shots, or wonder what the weirdo with the car was up to.
I did enjoy the dirt paths, which are tiny little paths one person wide where people take short cuts, but also work for the dirt track in Africa look
It's important to get you classic car photo angles, like the low front three quarter
and then it was off to the made made river, plenty of boulders around to make it look like this thing was really off road now
Of course this has left the car a bit dirty, maybe I should have fjorded a river
oh well, no time for that - need to head home
If only the model also included full suspension so you could take the classic flex shot.
It does.
