Susej had brought good ideas to her photo session in the studio. One of the photos she showed me involved the use of a professional snoot, the kind that has a lens that allows them to outline or blur the boundaries of the projected light area. The photo in question was a model sitting on a stool with an immense circle of light projected in the background. The studio I occasionally do work for doesn't have that kind of equipment, but I told her I could achieve a similar effect on the images she selected. Here I show you the results of my edits. I did not stop to think too much about the physical projections of what that effect would be in reality, I simply wanted my clients to feel satisfied with the results I proposed, and both - mother and daughter - nodded with approval. Susej había traído buenas ideas a su sesión fotográfica en el estudio. Una de las fotos que ella me mostró implicaba el uso de un snoot de los profesionales, de los que tienen un lente que les permite delimitar o desenfocar los límites del área de luz proyectada. LA foto en cuestión era una modelo sentada en una banqueta y con un inmenso círculo de luz proyectado en el fondo. El estudio para el que hago trabajos de vez en cuando no tiene ese tipo de equipamiento, pero le dije que podía lograr un efecto similar en las imágenes que seleccionase. Aquí les muestro los resultados de mis ediciones. No me detuve a pensar demasiado en las proyecciones físicas de lo que sería ese efecto en la realidad, busqué simplemente que mis clientas se sintieran satisfechas con los resultados que les propuse, y ambas, -madre e hija- asintieron con beneplácito. Ustedes qué opinan?
