Monomad: A Cluster of Mealy Bonnets

There was a cluster of mealy bonnet mushrooms that I found near the Blang Kolam twin waterfalls at the end of April.

They are so small and fragile, so I try my best not to touch them so they don't get damaged.

I remember it being really hard to find mushrooms because there had been no rain for the last few months. So, when I found those mushrooms, I was really excited. Like someone who is happy when they let go of longing for the things they care about.

Mycena cinerella is the Latin name for this fungus. And this is the umpteenth time I have found the same type of mushroom in the waterfall environment.

You can imagine that when the rainy season arrives, they will fill the rotten logs that are scattered there.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
