Monomad: Like a row of standing lamps that illuminate the dark night

in Black And White4 years ago (edited)

They looked like standing lamps, lined up, illuminating the dark night. When I first saw it, I thought it was microscopic mushrooms growing on a dry twig. But apparently, they were lacewing eggs—one of the insects belonging to the family Chrysopidae.

The egg has a tall, slender stem that looks like hair with a white oval tip. Well, it's a very simple subject from nature, but I think it's really cool. I'm submitting this as my entry for the #monomad challenge.
