Monomad: Little Forest Ranger

The following macro shots will be published in today's round of the #monomad challenge.

I was in a wooded area when a small, unexpected alien suddenly appeared in front of me. It shook its head and sent a wary glance in my direction with its big eyes. But when I smiled at the alien, it appeared less like an ugly monster and more like a good friend. It extends its front legs in what appears to be an adoration gesture as it says "hello." Considering that it lacks hands, I don't think it's harsh. People refer to it as the praying mantis. It appeared to be a forest ranger. It appears that before moving forward, I must obtain its permission.
