I'll share some lovely photos here that I also submitted for the #monomad challenge today.
These photos were taken last Saturday at the Pioneer Camp beach in Lhokseumawe City, when the weather was pretty nice with clear skies, despite the presence of a few white cloud spots.
I didn't see anyone at the beach until midday, so it was absolutely silent. At that noon, not even the seagulls that normally fly back and forth were visible. Only a few small waves could be heard smashing, and the wind was blowing very strongly.
I walked up to a little wooden boat with two flags inside. The Republic of Indonesia's pride flag, which is a fluttering red and white cloth, is flying there.
Considering that Indonesian Independence Day is just a few days away on August 17th, I'm assuming the fisherman who owns the wooden boat purposefully flew the flag.
It definitely represents the enthusiastic attitude a small-time fisherman has in commemoration of his nation's Independence Day, in my opinion. I get excited when I think about it as well.
