Monomad: Sweet Damselfly

Yesterday, I noticed a cute damselfly flying low around the pandan plants in my yard. This tiny damselfly occasionally perches on a leaf but then moves to another leaf. I guess it was a reconnaissance mission; maybe targeting aphids or leafhoppers for lunch.

Sometimes trivial ideas come to mind when seeing insects like this; I tried to count the long tail segments, and there are 9 segments. Yes, it's like pieces of pipe connected.

"Is that a problem for you"? I could hear the damselfly mutter then.
