Monomad - Hoverfly (Syrphus ribesi)

Hello Everyone..

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

In this post, I again want to share some photos of hoverfly species that I found on the edge of rice fields in a remote village in North Aceh. To be precise, that is in the village of Serba Jaman Tunong, Sumatra, Indonesia.

The hoverfly genus I am referring to is Syrphus ribesi, a very common holarctic species of hoverfly. What is interesting in my opinion about this hoverfly species is that it is located in the eye area with black color accompanied by a line like a ribbon, besides the appearance from behind it looks like a bee.
