Have a nice weekend and don't forget to take care of your health, especially during this pandemic season, especially with extreme weather like the area where I live, which has been raining for two days, thus hampering many activities.
And in today's #monomad challenge, I want to share photos of two insect species that I hunted in the grass on the outskirts of the rice fields yesterday morning.
The first photo is of the hoverfly genus (Eristalinus fuscicornis). Most of these species have very distinctive eye markings, visible spots on their eyes.
Then the second photo is "Kumbang Koksi", a member of the order Coleoptera, this small insect is not like other insects which often become pests and scourges for farmers, while the koksi beetle is actually a friend of farmers.
In appearance the color of this small insect has a variety of colors, there are red, yellow, orange with a combination of black spots. And here are the two photos of the insects I meant above:
