I am participating in today's #monomad contest with these photos. This concert took place at the Moda Stage in Kadıköy, Istanbul, which is mostly known for its theater organizations. The renovation of the venue in the past years - which allows the seats to be moved - sometimes turns it into a concert venue.
This was a solidarity organization for the two devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey in February 2023. There were three different stages in total, my photos only focus on one stage.
On this stage we had Rinxlaya, Leon and Oldeaf, who gave us 40 minutes of great energy. If you want to get to know them in order, I can start as follows: Rinxlaya is a rapper who has found her place in the experimental hiphop scene. In her music, she sometimes fragments the language and creates different meanings and sometimes combines different meanings to create her unique style. The beats she prefers to rap over are more aggressive and up-tempo lately.

Now it's time for Oldeaf, which always looks blurry in the photos but makes the music. Contrary to this kind of music, he produces more downtempo chillhop jazz and hip hop sounds. His latest release is a great single with the rapper Çiğ called Figaro - I highly recommend listening to it. In 2022 he made an album called Raw Beats.

And finally Leon: he uses brutal vocals to express himself. He is the lead vocal of Frozen Clouds, a hardcore punk and metalcore band. He is also a visual artist whose work can be seen on the street. His songs with Rinxlaya create a strange experience.
