for #Monomad contest
Last week, I took photographs at a concert organized by the M4NM art collective in Kadıköy, Istanbul. And of course I drank some :)
Mert, who used the name Monowi, first appeared on the stage. He played a beautiful 40-minute set, including the songs he produced himself; mostly; downtempo, triphop and hiphop.
Ağaçkakan (means woodpecker in Turkish) takes the stage after Monowi and he moved the audience a little with his up-tempo songs.
After Ağaçkakan, we listened to Çiğ for about 40 minutes on the stage. Stage dominance, performance and energy were very good. Çiğ is one of the musicians I've been following lately, her lyrics and flow are pretty good. If you want to listen, I'm linking his Spotify here.
