Hello hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry #monomad
On my trip to Tana Toraja I took the time to come to the Kete Ketsu traditional village in South Sulawesi Province.
There I want to photograph the whereabouts of Tokonan.
Tonkonan is the traditional house of the Toraja people who have various traditions and cultures that are still maintained.
Tongkonan with its distinctive shape has an aesthetic beauty that still maintains the ancestral traditions of the Toraja tribe.
its very rich ethnic and unique shape can be seen from the roof of the Toraja traditional house using only bamboo slats covered with palm fiber, reeds, or thatch in the shape of a boat.
To signify social status, each traditional house has buffalo head horns attached. The more buffalo horns that are arranged vertically, the higher the status they have.
They get buffalo horns from slaughtering buffaloes to hold funerals for family members who have died.
The Toraja traditional house is a house that is passed down based on ancestry and tribal clan, to make it easier to find out the kinship between the Toraja traditional tribes.
Thank you very much @qurator for support 🙏🙏🙏
Very beautiful, I really like that kind of pattern created by the buildings and how the jungle is so big that even in black and white is able to take you to its depth.
@belug I hope that one day you will visit Tana Toraja to see the natural beauty and unique customs 😊😊
Tahnk you so much @mnurhiver 🙏
