Monomad Photography Challenge - goose flapping wings

Here is my entry into todays #monomad photography challenge.

  • Images taken with the Olympus E-M5 II and the Panasnic 12-60mm lens
  • Edited with Capture One and Aurora hdr
  • Image shot at F9, 1/160Sec, ISO 200

These images where shot on one of the canals around Bilston, West Midlands, UK, near where my work friend lives, in April 2020. A goose started flapping it's wings and I managed to get these two shots.

Canadian wild goose, right? It is a gorgeous bird, but does not occur in the Carpathian Basin. Or yet? I saw one last year, that was exactly what it looked like in your pictures. I wonder how did it get to us?

Yes, after just checking it certainly looks like a Canadian wild goose. They are very common in the UK all year round, lots of them in the parks with ponds and the canals where I live.
