I am not a professional but I love to take pictures of my dog. Even with a smartphone they can turn out great. Here is Joy for the #monomad challenge.

A note from me:

Bulldogs love chewing.

Not only is it important for the tooth hygiene but it is also reducing stress and prevents boredom. It is proven that by chewing the body is releasing endorphins, the happy hormone for stress release.

Puppies chew extensively during tooth change. This is usually happening between the 4. and 7. month of living.
It is an instinctive behavior to support teething and dealing with the pain.

Just like babies dogs are exploring their environment with the mouth. That's why puppies tend to chew everything they can get, they are getting to know their surroundings.

So if you want your chair to be safe provide your dog with the appropriate toy to chew on right from the beginning.

Make sure it is safe for your dog and for the right age. Adult dogs need other chewies than puppies. Go to your local pet supplier for support on the right toy.

NEVER give raw or processed chicken bones, as they are thin and when cooked they split even more easily. The danger of internal injuries is highly given feeding chicken bones.

Provide different varieties of toys as you would get bored doing the same thing, so is your dog.

If your dog is chewing extensively besides having plenty of regular chewing options he may show signs of distress. He can be overwhelmed and it is a form of displacement activity. Make sure you find the source of stress and treat it properly.

Seek advice from a local dog expert if necessary.

If no stress is occuring see your local vet for medical advise and to rule out internal causes.

Hahaha destroyer :D

@tipu curate

I have so many more. Also from my first bulldog Molly. You will love those. I just need to get the pic mess in my laptop cleaned up lol. See ya 😄 .

More destroyed toys? :D :D
Give us more! So adorable :)

Wonderful photo session in black and white. These close-ups are brilliant.
Strangely enough my dog does not chew anything and since we got her she has no interest in toys.

Thanks @nelinoeva :).

Don't worry about your dog not chewing or being playful with toys. Not all of them are interested in toys. Especially if they are not a working breed.

The urge to hunt is a behavior pattern that can be reduced with breeding. There are different sequences in a behavior that can be suppressed. That is why you have all kind of breeds.

Take a Pointer for instance. Their DNA tells them the right things to do for going after pray, but the ability to finish and kill was bred away. A Pointer points at the pray, a Retriever retrieves but they all lost kind of the ability to behave like a wolf and complete the entire sequences of hunting.

Some dogs just even don't know how to "hunt" anymore, so they don't have an urge to play with toys.

That is very interesting. My dog is Chinese Crested and it is a lap dog. But she got mental when a pigeon enters by mistake through the open window.
My other dog, who sadly died an year ago and was Penny's daughter, loved to chase the pigeons in the park. So, that was kind of hunting instinct I guess. ☺

Or just bullying pigeons lol. Just kidding 😄 .

I will put some informations together regarding several dog topics but this takes some time.

Right now I'm busy dealing with fraud.

I just found out by accident that someone is using my old content from Steemit here in Hive.

Name, pics...everything.

So if you see the account niniveh29112 here please don't interact. I put a warning post up as well.

Dear me, that is so horrible. Did you report this user?

Hey @nelinoeva

Ya it sucked bad.
I just made this post https://peakd.com/hive-174578/@bulldog-joy/what-to-do-when-your-content-is-plagiarized-or-stolen writing about it. Luckily things are working on hive and I got helped. But still it really sucks.

Oh, I would be gutted if something like that happened. Glad you found the help. The community here is evry strong and supportive.

Thanks @victorbz,

You are right, black and white can turn a daily scene into something special. It can enhance and transport emotions, sometimes better than polychrome. Though not every scene is suitable for monochrome.
