Here is batch two from my attempt to get the perfect action shot of Mr Sulley and Bella.
They are nimble, they're fast and my camera is 100% manual. I mentioned it before, although I wish to snap the perfect shot, perfect focus, perfect energy, I still absolutely love all the shots where the focus is off, or the framing is awkward.
Or when your dog looks ridiculous.
Why do I shoot manual?
My day job is a Cinematographer so I am akin to the focus ring, my understanding of autofocus is very poor and it's best in my old age of 33 I forget about learning it. I enjoy being tight and buying old glass.
And here is Bella. She hates her coat... We just put it on occasionally to please Nana who made it.
I did eventually achieve the perfect shot, but I'm saving it for the future. I will show eventually 🙏
I hope you enjoyed these images!
Go do something 🙂
Cotton.
They are so cute! Especially the 4th photo made me smile! :))
Awww thanks @ssygmr I will let them know :)
Number 4! 😂
As you say.. there is something about the old, manual lenses. Even if the focus is not quite there. Which one did you use there?
(now I go do something :p)
Number four was a Minolta 50mm f1.7, made in about 1975 I think. But yeah that face is a cracker for sure!
Yap, the doggies. The crazy faces are the best. I know how hard it can be to capture dogs, esp in action.
Congratulations. Today's #monomad first place is yours. Thank You very much for participating.
