My entry to the #monomad challenge:
Even as a child, I loved to read. I never liked screen adaptations of books, or rather very rarely. Movies have always spoiled the "movie" I made while reading the book. Mark Twain's books certainly created unique images in my imagination. When I saw this boy in that environment, I immediately remembered Tom Sawyer and his adventures. On the lake, not on the river, some kind of hat, maybe a little older... Tom Sawyer grew up too.
