One of the most emblematic and touristic places to visit is the Recoleta cemetery, for many people it may seem quite strange or inappropriate because it is a cemetery but yes, it is a very touristic place. This is my second visit, in which my family and I attended.
In this place there are many heroes of the Argentinean nation and more than a hundred mausoleums or tombs are considered national historical monuments.
Uno de los lugares más emblemáticos y turísticos para visitar es el cementerio de la Recoleta, para muchas personas quizás les parecerá bastante raro o inapropiado por tratarse de un cementerio pero si, es un lugar muy turístico. Ésta es mi segunda visita, en la cual asistimos mi familia y yo.
En este lugar se encuentran muchos próceres de la nación argentina y más de cien mausoleos o tumbas son considerados monumentos históricos nacionales.
Access to the place for tourists has a cost which I do not know but for Argentines and foreign residents is totally free. There are guided tours for these tourists, which is very good because there is a lot of important information in each of the places of this cemetery.
It's been a year or more I think, that I made a post about this place for the Black and White community, so this would be more or less an updated post, also I think that in the photos I share with you there are photos of monuments that I didn't share last time.
El acceso al lugar para turísticas tiene un costo el cual desconozco pero para los argentinos y residentes extranjeros es totalmente gratuito. En el lugar se realizan visitas guiadas para estos turistas, lo cual está muy bueno ya que hay mucha información importante en cada uno de los lugares de este cementerio.
Ya hace un año o más creo, que hice una publicación sobre este lugar para la comunidad de Black and White, así que este sería más o menos un post actualizado, también me parece que en las fotos que les comparto hay fotos de monumentos que no compartí la vez pasada.
It is impressive to see all these structures and how imposing some of them are, they are relevant in many ways and one of them is the sculpture and architecture. Among so many there are many structures that have Greek styles, columns and buildings that look like palaces, in these there are entire families from more than 100 years ago.
In these last pictures I show you a sculpture of an angel for example at the top and three statues of soldiers who were very important in the liberation of the country.
Es impresionante ver todas estas estructuras y lo imponente que son algunas de ellas, son relevantes en muchos sentidos y uno de ellos es la escultura y arquitectura. Entre tantos existen muchas estructuras que tienen estilos griegos, columnas y edificaciones que parecen palacios, en éstas se encuentran familias enteras de hace más de 100 años.
En éstas últimas fotos les muestro una escultura de un ángel por ejemplo en la cima y tres estatuas de militares que fueron muy importantes en la liberación del país.
I like these two photos very much, particularly the second one with that beam of light entering the lens, it gives a feeling of the presence of an entity from beyond, no? 😅 Well 😆
We spent about 40 minutes touring the place and had a lot left to see and visit. There is also the tomb of Eva Peron and in some cases we found uncovered doors and exposed urns, not open but you could see the urns. Another thing that caught our attention were the sculptures of faces with very expressive details and that somehow seemed to be looking at you 😯
Éstas dos fotos me gustan muchísimo, en particular la segunda con ese rayo de luz entrando al lente, da una sensación de la presencia de un ente del más allá, no? 😅 Bueno 😆
Estuvimos alrededor de 40 minutos recorriendo el lugar y nos quedó mucho por ver y visitar. También está la tumba de Eva Perón y en algunos caso nos encontramos con puertas al descubierto y urnas expuestas, no abiertas pero si se podían ver las urnas. Otra cosa que nos llamó la atención eran las esculturas de rostros con detalles muy expresivos y que de alguna forma parecían estar mirándote 😯

Además de lo histórico de este cementerio, la cantidad de figuras que hay allí y todo, la cantidad de artistas tallando esos rostros. Son increíbles las esculturas, los tonos del mármol, las "luces del más allá" un poco parece mágico!
