Low Angles, Symmetry and Trains in the Tunnel - Monomad Challenge.

This is a slightly different series than what I usually do, but I always take advantage of the opportunity to take photos in places where not everyone has access. Train stations are great, platforms and public transport places on the streets but tunnels are something else, Periodic maintenance work is done here and this is the workshop for the Constitución station of the Buenos Aires subway.

I had already been there a few years ago but doing other simpler tasks, years later I am in the maintenance and repair team.

I love the idea of leaving my everyday workplace and entering other workshops first for the experience of this type of work and second because I have the option of taking some photos.

In these two photos I took a different approach although it is the same angle, there you can see that my colleagues are under a vehicle extracting a piece called a cardan. I quickly left there for a few minutes to take these photos and then rejoin the team to continue working with them.

I applied exactly the same technique but on the other side of the platform or rather the pit, which gave me some symmetry from that perspective. In the background you can see part of the tunnel where trains in service pass with passengers on board.

This is the vehicle from which we were removing the part that was required to be transported to a different workshop. Two of my companions were still inside the Zephir.

This is one of the trains that have the most frequency in service, the Almston trains, and this station is in charge of them. There are other workshops like the one I work in where they work with other types of trains: FIAT, MITSUBISHI.

I hope to have the opportunity to visit more workshops like this where I can take good and interesting photos. I also hope you liked it and I wish you a good weekend.
