Hi guys! Here is another series of photographs of reflections in the city of Buenos Aires, this time the selection is of different places in the capital starting with the Colon Theater and its surroundings. These first photos are of this emblematic building from different angles presenting the left side, front and right side reflected in water through puddles left by the rain of the previous day.
Many people still ask me what I try to do with this kind of photographs and the truth is always the intention is to create, to create different scenarios to the ones we usually do. It happened to me recently on my Instagram account as two of these photos from the whole selection are on my account, however 90% of my followers are knowledgeable about photography and understand.
It looks like you're taking pictures of the ground, of a puddle, and what could be interesting about taking pictures of a puddle? Well, here are the results. Impossible not to be able to take this kind of photos when I see possible scenarios like this and it's a plus when the sky goes from cloudy to cloudy, it makes it much more attractive, at least for me.
Hola chicos! Aquí otra serie de fotografías de reflejos en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, en esta ocasión la selección es de diferentes lugares de la capital empezando por el teatro colón y sus alrededores. Estás primeras fotos son de este emblemático edificio desde diferentes ángulos presentándoles el costado izquierdo, frente y costado derecho reflejado en agua mediante charcos que dejo la lluvia del día anterior.
Muchas personas aún me preguntan que intento con este tipo de fotografías y la verdad siempre la intención es crear, crear escenarios diferentes a los que habitualmente hacemos. Me pasó recientemente en mi cuenta de Instagram ya que dos de estas fotos de toda la selección están en mi cuenta, sin embargo el 90% de mis seguidores tienen conocimiento sobre fotografías y lo entienden.
Pareciera que estuvieses tomando fotos al piso, a un charco, y que puede haber de interesante tomarle fotos a un charco? Bueno, aquí están los resultados. Imposible no poder tomar esta clase de fotos cuando veo posibles escenarios así y es un plus cuando el cielo pasa de estar nublado a formar nubes, lo hace mucho más atractivo, al menos para mí.
In the following photos I also show you reflections but in this part focusing on the Roca school building, also located near the Colon Theater. We moved to another area of the city and I managed to capture some more reflections but in the neighborhood of Balvanera, where I also decided to reverse one of the photos with a row of parked cars, it is an inverted reflection.
Finally we have the great court building with palm trees that adorn the Lavalle square which signs part of this government headquarters and thus I can conclude with the shots of reflections in monochrome for today.
En las siguientes fotos les muestro también reflejos pero en esta parte enfocando el edificio de la escuela Roca, también ubicado en las cercanías del teatro colón. Nos trasladamos a otra zona de la ciudad y logré capturar algunos reflejos más pero en el barrio de Balvanera, dónde también decidí invertir una de las fotos con una fila de autos estacionados, es u reflejo invertido.
Para finalizar tenemos el gran edificio de los tribunales acompañado de palmeras que adornan la plaza Lavalle la cual firma parte de ésta sede gubernamental y de esta forma puedo concluir con las tomas de reflejos en monocromo para el día de hoy.
