It’s not just about the water, but about the collective commitment. It's that necessary pause where time stops and a family, a circle, gathers to say, "Here we are, this is one of ours, and we are going to protect and guide them." You can feel the tension, the hope of the parents, the seriousness of the godfather or godmother who accepts the burden of that new life.

My job is to freeze that instant of collective commitment: the grandmother's tear, the serious gesture of the godfather, the baby's stillness before the water. It is a kind of time capsule, a photographic proof of the moment that life was received with a gigantic faith and love. It is the certainty that, years later, that person will look at the photo and know that their journey began surrounded by an unbreakable will to care.
Al final, la magia del bautismo no está solo en la teología, sino en el anclaje emocional. Mi trabajo es congelar ese instante de compromiso colectivo: la lágrima de la abuela, el gesto serio del padrino, la quietud del bebé ante el agua. Es una especie de cápsula de tiempo, una prueba fotográfica del momento en que esa vida fue recibida con una fe y un amor gigantesco. Es la certeza de que, años después, esa persona mirará la foto y sabrá que su viaje comenzó rodeado de una voluntad inquebrantable de cuidado.
