I met Igor at a friend named Diego's birthday party, and as soon as we started talking, we realized we liked each other. We have a similar sense of humor, and that made us connect easily.
Conocí a Igor en un cumpleaños de un amigo que se llama Diego y apenas empezamos a hablar nos dimos cuenta que nos caíamos bien. Tenemos un humor parecido y eso hizo que conectáramos con facilidad.
Igor posed in front of me because his girlfriend wanted him to take some photos with me, and he didn't have much faith in how they would turn out. But I knew I could take some photos that at least I would like, and as soon as we started and he saw them, he loved them, which made me very happy.
Cuando Igor se posó frente a mí fue porque su novia quería que se tomara unas fotos conmigo y él no tenía mucha fe con cómo iban a salir. Pero yo sabía que podía sacar unas fotos que por lo menos a mí me gustaran, y en lo que empezamos y las vio, le encantaron, así que me contenté muchísimo.
Photographing people is something I really enjoy, but when it's someone I like and I know I can capture something that pleases me, that satisfaction is even greater.
Fotografiar personas es algo que me gusta mucho, pero cuando es una persona que me cae bien y que de paso sé que puedo capturar algo que me agrade, esta satisfacción es aún mayor.
I always wanted to seriously photograph the people I know, and it's something I've been achieving little by little. And this project, even though it doesn't give me much money, is a project that has filled my spirit.
Siempre quise fotografiar en serio a las personas que conozco, y es algo que he estado logrando de poco a poco. Y este proyecto, a pesar de que no me da mucho dinero, es un proyecto que me ha llenado el espíritu.
