I found this caterpillar again in the same plant as I saw them last time. This is the caterpillar of Doleschallia bisaltide, the autumn leaf, which is a nymphalid butterfly found in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australasia. In Australia it is also known as the leafwing. or Balinese usually called them Geeng Temen
There is a saying in Balinese which is Serem-Serem Geeng Temen which means someone who looks scary or sounds tough but actually a coward since it has no venom to make someone itchy. Because this caterpillar looks scary with its hair and its bright color, which instantly sends a signal for us to stay away from it.








And in the last photo, I have this colored version for you to see its bright color.
