Here you can see the art of a blacksmith which symbolizes a candle holder and is made of iron. I think this candle holder gives a very nostalgic flair and decorates the location very much and the ornaments were made in great detail and you can see the passion that was put into this work of art. The artist has shown a lot of tact and in general I am a big fan of cultural and nostalgic works of art, matching black and white photography. A few days ago, I already went into more detail about the history of the blacksmith and if you want to learn more about it, you can find the post here.

By the way, the metal iron stands symbolically for strength and hardness and the shaping of iron is also often interpreted as a spiritual event. Iron can also be found in the symbolism of alchemy and is connected to the 7 metals which in turn are associated with the 7 planets and iron stands for the planet Mars. Depending on the culture, candles can have different meanings and the color of the candles is also interpreted differently. While red candles are often associated with romance, white candles are often associated with the divine and the universe and black candles are often connected with protection, magic and can help to open the subconscious.

In keeping with the art of blacksmithing, I was lucky enough to photograph the medieval coat of arms of the blacksmiths, which is also a beautiful eye-catcher artistically. You can see a snake called Aspis, which is also known as the fire snake and is depicted with a hammer, crown and pliers. For this coat of arms, there is also mythology which is associated with the snake and says that a blacksmith brought the frozen snake to life with the help of fire.

It's really unique style for metal stands, never seen something like this before.

I am very pleased to hear that you are interested in this work of art and your comment :)

Very beautiful design. when I was a child, my uncle made a candle holder, not large like this one but was very beautiful design and I was amazed to see how he had designed.

Thank you for the friendly words and I'm glad to hear that my post connects you with childhood memories!

As you can see, it takes a lot of effort to make such things and then they look so beautiful.

It's great to hear that you appreciate this art form :)

Yeah its fabulous.
