Monomad: Parks and Nature Reserves

in Black And White3 months ago

We've been to various parks and nature reserves this week. We've had snow, wind, rain and even some nice warm sunny days that's enabled me to put my shorts on. Sadly, it didn't last long. Typical british weather, really.

Sometimes black and white suits this time of year.

It was nice to spot a couple of Gadwall ducks on the pond. Even though they are quite common, apparently, I don't often see them. I'm no bird expert, so perhaps I was mistaking them for mallard ducks.

And a black headed gull having a wash and preen in the water.

This is my entry to the #monomad contest.

Beautiful photographs. I really enjoyed the ones with reflections. They are spectacular and black and white suits them very well. This is the kind of post that gives me a lot of feelings. Congratulations.

Thank you @nanixxx. I appreciate your kind words.

The ducks and that second shot of the riverbank / trees, stole the show.

Brilliant stuff 👏🏼
