Tiny survivors.

In my country when the winter is finally over and the sun starts to melt the thick layer of snow (if we are lucky to get the snow), small snowdrops start to pop and bloom. They don't mind the cold and the snow around them. They are the very first flowers in spring and I absolutely love them for that! They would also bloom right for my birthday, so that is another reason to like them :)

There is no snow in Portugal, but there are tiny flowers that look almost the same as the real Snowflakes! They also bloom in very early spring, but here the temperatures are way higher even if it is just February or March.

Leucojum trichophyllum grow from tiny bulbs hidden in sandy soils. When spring is over and the heat starts the whole plant: flowers and leaves will wilt and the bulb will wait under the ground for the next spring. No drought, rains, and fires that occur every year can kill them!
Precious things.

Few metres away a patch of blooming clovers attracted a hungry butterfly.

Very beautiful 👌👌 they look like the street lights in fashion 😬

Haha in the small fairy cities.

Nice contrast BW

Thank you :)

Lovely zoomed pictures! They created a whole different reality! Monochrome photos are so much warmer and approachable.

I find them much calmer and relaxing than full colour.

Yup! Quite true. The mood is much more timeless too.

Beautiful set of images. I love the "simpler" flowers like snowdrops, I think you managed to capture their delicate beauty quite well. Nice job!

Thank you very much :)

Beautiful photography as always.

Thank you :)
