Monomaniac 29 - Monochromatic lightpainting on Hive

Continuing my black and white series, this is a collection of lightpainting shots converted to monochrome and look all the better for it!

This is one of my favourite camera rotation images shot in an abandoned bomb store under Wales:

This shot won an international lightpainting award in 2017, the Oviedo Lightpainting Awards which was a surprise to me!

Laser beams in a cave with a smoke grenade always look good:

And finally, this is visiting lightpainter, Tom Hill, doing his thing with spinny things while I rotate the camera:

All of the above images were shot in one photographic exposure and are not Photoshop creations apart from the obvious conversion to mono....

About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.

Wow. You took this shots?
This are amazing.
What camera and lens was used?

Thanks @stevenson7 I use a Sony A7 full frame with various, mainly manual lenses which are swapped mid exposure while the camera's exposure is still going. I also sometimes swap tripods mid exposure. Two of the above shots have been rotated on the camera's lens axis too. Takes a lot of practice!

That is amazing 👏🏽👏🏽

Thanks @stevenson7, appreciated
