Monomad:give me a little space to pass through

Hello black and white friendsWhile I was going about my activities today in the garden, I accidentally noticed something moving slowly among the dry coffee leaves. It looked like a species of plain brown caterpillar was searching for something, maybe looking for its lunch. I didn't disturb the caterpillar; I let it be for a while so it wouldn't be startled knowing that I was watching it, because the nature of this caterpillar species is that if it realizes it is being observed, it will move quickly. It seemed as if it was telling me to give it a little space because it wanted to pass.

I began my action to photograph it. Just as I said at the beginning, it turns out it knew I was photographing it. Its movements started to speed up—from initially being in the bushes to now looking for a shortcut to avoid me. It moved toward one of the coffee tree branches. Suddenly, for some reason, this caterpillar curled up on one of the coffee tree stumps; maybe it was embarrassed knowing I was watching it.

You captured the little caterpillar’s journey so nicely. I love the patience and the story behind it. Nature moments like this are always special! ❤️

I find it a little disturbing and at the same time impressive to see them from this perspective. Very well-done photos!
