Monomad challenge - "Wear it like a crown"

in Black And White5 months ago

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

A while ago I photographed some marketing pictures for my wife's theatre play about shame.
The play itself was made for a young (teenage) audience and the theme was about people living with shame and ways to deal with it, instead of fearing it and letting it ruin ones life. Have you ever said something embarrasing? Did you ever go to school realising your toe sticking out through a whole in you socks? Has your stomach started singing out in a completely silent room filled with people..? The stories are endless and many times these memories stick with us for a long time.

This is such a big topic that affects every human being on our planet, in different ways. The way we are raised by our families and our societies and how we learn life from people surrounding us also inflicts ways to feel shame that goes so deep that we just make it part of our personalities without questioning it.

There are tools to handle it... Maybe we should speak out, maybe just embrace it, laugh at our memories..? I don't know... But understanding our feelings and where they come from is one of the first steps in my opinion. Take a look into your own soul.

Hi Simon! Long time no see, but nice to see you posting again! How's the Vizsla? 😍

Hi! Yeah, I haven't been active for a long time but now I decided to focus a bit on sharing some content again :) How are you? The Vizsla is doing great <3

That's great! I'm fine thank you and I hope to see the Vizsla in your posts 😀

Haven’t seen you for a while around here. Great shots as usual. Hope to see more of them in the future.

It's been a while! Really good to see a bunch of familiar friends still active, though! Thanks, I'm gonna try to keep it up :)

Manually curated by brumest from the @qurator Team. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful, thank you <3

Definitely better than the average theatre production shots!
