I could claim the Friend-Shaped Car is a "classic car," since it is 25+ years old, but somehow it still doesn't seem right to consider anything after the age of carburetors a "classic car," to say nothing of something produced after y2K. Maybe I need some chrome hubcaps anyway.
I think originally the Street Rods were restricted to pre-1948, but a decade or two ago they changed it to anything 30 years old or older. Fucking weird to see cars that I remember when they were new being called 'classic'. I'm with you, if it ain't even got a four barrel, how am I supposed to be impressed?
