RE: my mother: me

in Black And White2 months ago

I read you twice, this time... And once again... and it moved me, because just a few steps away from me I have my octogenarian mother coming and going after her cats, planting plants in her garden, commenting on a book she is reading and being "very herself"... We have had a lot of differences, but we have always been there for each other, I have not run away from her, we have simply learned "not to invade each other too much"... But reading what you wrote today to share, I also concluded that if someone else had raised me, I would not be today the "crazy guy with the camera in his hand" that I am today and that I love being so much, nor would I talk to cats and dogs in the streets, or love to write daily, or sit in silence observing myself... Anyway, I loved reading you today and I loved your photos of your adorable crows, as always... Thanks for sharing this...

Your mother sounds like a lot of fun, I'm glad she raised you the way she did. People who DON'T talk to animals in the street are the crazy ones, all cut off from the world and imprisoned within themselves. I'm glad you're that crazy guy with the camera.

Thanks for your kind comment, and for reading. 🖤
