Monomad: Chalky percher dragonfly

IMG20231031163331-01-01.jpg

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge.

This small dragonfly is one of the dragonflies that often flies low and likes small grass that grows in the water. I saw some there flying and occasionally pouncing on small insects flying around.

It looked like they were looking for food that afternoon after the rain stopped. This is in a rice field area and this dragonfly looks comfortable there. indeed they like watery swamps.

Moreover, in this area there are many insects such as small moths flying around. You can see in the photo below that there is something in his mouth. indeed they are also fierce predators. They are very aggressive even though they look relaxed.

They are named Diplacodes trivialis, a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae.
