The subway in the city where I live has not been completely built after more than 20 years.
Depending on the area where you are, determines whether it is really worth getting on the car.
I live in a part of the city where it is better to take the bus or a cab, but today I happened to go to the periphery, and it happened to be near a station.
Besides, I forgot cash for the bus, which is very cheap, but the subway is cheaper, and many times you get in without paying.
I had not known for years what it was like to sit on a subway train. What I remember is the heat, and the slowness of the system.
However, I did not experience this. Few people use this transportation service, and in addition to the reason I mentioned, I think it is also due to lack of information regarding the functionality.
In my case, for example, I thought it just didn't work, and perhaps many people think so.
I didn't have my SLR camera handy, but this didn't stop my impetus to take pictures.
The empty stalls, the advertisements, the taciturn faces, the waiting and the noise seemed to converge in the same urban ecosystem.
The trip to the subway this time was totally different. I can even say that I liked it, maybe because it was actually relatively quiet, or because time sometimes makes you forget bad experiences.

El metro de la ciudad donde vivo no ha sido construido por completo luego de más de 20 años.
Dependiendo de la zona donde te encuentres, se determina si realmente vale la pena subirse al vagón.
Vivo en una parte de la ciudad donde es mejor tomar el bus o un taxi, pero hoy me tocó ir a la periferia, y quedaba casualmente cerca de una estación.
Además, olvidé dinero en efectivo para el bus, que es muy barato, pero el del metro lo es más, y muchas veces entras sin pagar.
Tenía años sin saber lo que era estar sentado en un tren del metro. Lo que recuerdo es el calor, y la lentitud del sistema.
Sin embargo, esto no lo experimenté. Son pocas las personas que usan este servicio de transporte, y además de la razón que comenté, creo también que se debe a la falta de información respecto a la funcionalidad.
En mi caso, por ejemplo, pensaba que simplemente no funcionaba, y tal vez muchos lo crean así.
No tenía mi cámara réflex a la mano, pero esto no detuvo mi ímpetu por tomar fotografías.
Los puestos vacíos, los anuncios publicitarios, los rostros taciturnos, la espera y el ruido parecían converger en un mismo ecosistema urbano.
El viaje al metro de esta vez fue totalmente distinto. Incluso puedo decir que me agradó, puede ser porque en realidad había una relativa tranquilidad, o porque el tiempo a veces te hace olvidar malas experiencias.
