Action, Kayaking

Capturing and documenting sports kayaking is not one of the easiest tasks, that's for sure!

Especially when sailing on another boat, moving with different speed.

High shutter speed, the eternal challenge to pick the right balance between ISO and Shutter Speed and also, the issue with the focus that the modern mirrorless camera bodies are getting better and better at at the cost of the extremely expensive equipment.

Here, definitely the composition could be better but I challenge you to try, for example, to try to make a good photo of a car that takes over your car on the highway :) Of course, composition could be fixed in post production, but good photographers do the most at the time of taking the picture.

Here also, I had to be in a good physical shape, as I was bending to be as close as possible to the water surface.

Have you "compiled" a virtual GIF file inside your mind out of that series? I have! :)))

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
